Protect Yourself From Urine
Ibn Abbas (radiyallahu taala anhu) narrated that: Once the Prophet (sallalahu alahi wasallam), while passing through one of the Heytan (gardens or graveyards) of Al-Madina or MAkka heard the voices of two persons who were being tortured in their graves. The Prophet (sallalahu alahi wasallam) said, These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin (to avoid). He (sallalahu alahi wasallam) then added, Yes! (There they are being tortured for a major sin). Indeed, one of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine while the other used to go about with calumnies (to make enmity between friends). The Prophet (sallalahu alahi wasallam) then asked for a green branch (of a date branch tree), broke it into two pieces and put one on each grave. On being asked why he had done so, he replied, I hope that their torture might be lessened, till these get dried.
(Bukhari)
Note: This action was a kind of invocation on the part of the Propeht (sallalahu alahi wasallam) for the deceased persons.
(Fath Al-Bari)
Abu Hurayra (radiyallahu taala anhu) is reported to have said that the messenger of Allah (sallalahu alahi wasallam) had warned that none should urinate in standing position nor wash himself in that position.
(Muslim)
Abd al-Rahman bin Hasanah reported: I and Amr bin al-As went to the Prophet (sallalahu alahi wasallam). He came out with a leather shield (in his hand). He covered himself with it and urinated. Then we said: Look at him. He is urinating as a women does. The Prophet (sallalahu alahi wasallam), heard this and said: Do you know what befell a person form the Banu Israil (Children of Israel)? When urine fell on them, they would cut off the place where the urine fell; but he forbade them (to do so), and was punished in his grave.
Abu Dawud said: One version of Abu Musa has thr wording: he cut off his skin.
Another version of Abu Musa goes: he cut off (part of) his body.
